The Pertronic Remote Vibrating Alarm System aims to alert and wake sleeping occupants in the event of a fire alarm. The system is especially suited for deaf or hearing impaired occupants who may not respond to normal audible alarms.

The system consists of a Transmitter Unit providing wireless control of up to eight Receiver Units. Each Receiver Unit controls a vibrating bed-shaker positioned under the pillow or mattress. The Receiver Unit also provides an output for a visual alarm device, such as a strobe.

In the event of a system fault the system provides audible and visual alerts.

One Pertronic fire panel can drive multiple Vibrating Alarm Transmitter Units.
